Aldermans leads Devon in supporting National Manufacturing Day
We are opening our doors to the whole community on 7th July 2022, as part of Make UK’s National Manufacturing Day celebrations.
National Manufacturing Day is set to be a gigantic celebration of manufacturing, with the aim of encouraging all age groups to consider the possibilities of a career in manufacturing, as well as helping local communities to understand more about the businesses on their doorstep. Manufacturing companies across the country are already signing up to support the initiative, and Aldermans is the first in Devon to do so.
On 7th July our visitors will be able to take part in a series of inspiring engineering events including a factory tour, having a go on an Augmented Reality Welding kit, and building their own miniature metal aeroplanes. They will also be able to talk directly to members of staff about careers in manufacturing and the daily life of an engineering apprentice.
