Successful PMG Apprenticeship fair

Aldermans was delighted to take part in the first ever Apprenticeship Recruitment Fair organised by PMG (Plymouth Manufacturers’ Group), of which we are active members.

Held at Plymouth Guildhall on Saturday 7th March, the event attracted around 400 attendees from across the city, including young people and their parents.

Held at Plymouth Guildhall on Saturday 7th March, the event attracted around 400 attendees from across the city, including young people and their parents.

Many came with some uncertainly about what an engineering apprenticeship could offer – but the event left them impressed by the options available, and particularly by the number of highly-respected Plymouth companies who were there.

For Aldermans the event was the perfect opportunity to begin the search for our next engineering apprentice, who we want to start with us in September. We received strong interest throughout the day, and we hope to find someone to follow in the footsteps of Dylan and Sean – click on the images below to read their stories.
