We won!

We’re proud and delighted to have been crowned the winners of the Apprenticeship and Training Award at the 2016 Made in the South West awards!

The announcement was made at a gala dinner in Bristol on the evening of 2nd November, where Managing Director Karen Friendship was called to the stage to receive the award on behalf of the company.

Aldermans has long committed to investing in staff training, far exceeding that provided by many companies of its size.  Apprentices represent 5% of Aldermans’ staff, and the company has a proven track-record of supporting apprentices which go on to enjoy career success and develop into management roles.

“We are quite overwhelmed by the news of this award!” comments Karen. “We are also incredibly proud of all our staff who work hard, commit to training and development to improve their skills, help each other grow, and thus enhance the company and their own careers.”

Aldermans is also shortlisted in the Apprenticeship category in this year’s Western Morning News Business Awards.
